Wow, it has been quite a year in regard to the planet transits, eclipses, etc...And we're still here.

Thank you for supporting my astrology blog, for your comments, donations, and readership.  I have a feeling things will turn even more adventurous for astrologers and astrology followers, but we can handle it.  We have grown accustom to Uranus squaring Pluto (piece of cake...lol) and we'll settle in with Mars in Libra until July 25, 2014 too.  Meanwhile, Cancerians, reap those Jupiter blessings because otherwise you'll need to wait for another 12 years to do so.

Focus on the good, and leave the rest behind.  What's working with your planetary transits and where do you need to do some work? Those are the questions to keep in mind as we complete 2013 and head into a whole new cycle.

As for me, I plan on learning more about astrology so I can follow in traditions that hail back to ancient Babylon, India, etc...while we might all have our different systems and not agree on whether the planets are enemies or allies, I know one thing, the planets have the final word and we only get to translate.  However, after we translate, it is up to us to choose what to do with the wisdom we glean from our cosmic explorations.

Eat, Pray, Astrology (Liz Gilbert's Chart)

Liz Gilbert, TED TALKS Whole Astrology is now over four years old. I'm pulling this article from the 2012 archives. It as popular when I first posted it so I'm sure it's still of interest. I mentioned Liz Gilbert in my article on meditation by planet.  Then a colleague sent me sent me this chart   You can also view the chart below. Uranus Transits from 1930s to 2019---Radical Change

For the past several months, I've been researching the ways Uranus has ushered in changes through several decades beginning in the 1940s. Originally, I was considering writing a series with PDFs for each transit per sign along with podcasts. But now, I'm considering writing a book that will include the 1960s transits and the Uranus transits. For now, I'm going to include a brief article featuring each Uranus transit and the events and people that appeared during those times. The equation is Uranus' shocking grassroots energy + the themes of each Zodiac Sign. Uranus also formed a conjunction with Pluto in the 1960s. And after the Harmonic Convergence, the late 1980s, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn formed a powerful Triple Conjunction in Capricorn.
