Venus in Gemini--Flirtation with the Mind, Wit, and Highbrow Humor

Before I write this post, I have to say that traffic to this blog is dismal. This used to be a popular blog and the information is still relevant. If you're visiting this blog, please leave comments and share my articles with your friends and colleagues. Please follow the blog if you're not already a follower. Thank you. Pixabay.com When I was born decades ago, Venus was retrograde in Gemini. Not only that, and my Natal Mars was also in Gemini so this brought out highbrow flirtation and fickleness on my part. Why settle for one steady beau when I could flirt with many? I was also a tomboy in my youth, preferring to hang out with the neighborhood boys instead of the girls who abandoned me when they found a new best girlfriend to pal around with.  My first boyfriend was a Gemini (I admired his drummer arms and large hands), and I stuck with the Mutable signs for the first part of my dating years. Later, I branched out to get involved with one Aries man (never again)

Astrological Rollercoaster--Transits for April, May, and June 2020

Image
We began the year with a whopper transit, Saturn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn (a 500+ year transit) and since that time, the world economy has faltered, an epidemic has swept through the world bringing in its wake death and confusion and there is spiritual talk of a first wave of ascension on the way. On the flipside, with less human interaction upon the Earth (we're all on lockdown), Mother Nature seems to be reviving and healing herself. Where do we go from here? During the first three weeks of April, the Sun is in Aries and after the 12th, Mercury joins the Sun in this fiery Cardinal Sign. Meanwhile, Mars catches up to Saturn at 0 degrees Aquarius on March 31 and April Fool's Day. What a way to launch us into the collecti

Saturn in Aquarius (Pausing and Restrictions As We Negotiate the Future)

If you want an idea of the ways Saturn in Aquarius will shape us, look back to 1991 to 1993, the last time Saturn was in the sign of the Water Bearer. Saturn was the first planet to break up the Triple Conjunction of Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune in Capricorn. In the US, we elected Bill Clinton for President (1992) after, over a decade of enduring ultra-conservatism. But Saturn in Aquarius also brought in weird science such as the first GMO tomato and everything that followed. This time, when Saturn leaves Capricorn, it breaks away from Pluto and Jupiter, which it formed Triple conjunction and briefly, a stellium with faster moving Mars before heading into Aquarius briefly where it will hang out in the first two degrees of the sign, retrograde back to Capricorn and then on December 17, 2020, transit back into Aquarius. Well, here's the thing. Saturn is ruled by Aquarius and Capricorn in classical astrology. Aquarius can be just as conservative as Capricorn in some regards (Presid
