Five Important Transits for 2023

Image
There are actually more than five important transits for 2023. And in fact, 2023, in many ways, is more exciting than 2022 as far as transits go. Three of the five outer planets change signs. The North Node transits into Aries (not really a big deal but), and a personal planet transits for several months in the sign of Leo. While another person planet finally moves into Cancer (after spending eight months in Gemini). It's unusual for personal planets to remain in a single sign from six to eight months and when personal planets (Mars and Venus) stay in a single sign for several months, they cause us to focus on the energies and themes of that sign. It's not accident. When outer planets transit into new signs that feels like a hiccup or a large ship slowing down to turn in a new direction. The best way to navigate the waves of energy in 2023, is to take life in the slow lane. Instead of reacting to events, respond. Take one day at a time. Don't plan too far

Mars in Gemini (August 21, 2022 to March 25, 2023)--A To-Do List For Working with This Transit

If you would like to see the video version of this topic, visit Astrology with Sass on Locals.com Otherwise, I noticed certain themes coming up with Mars in Gemini such as mindfulness, the power of words, affirmations, synchronicity, and masterful manifestation techniques. Similar to any transit, it's best to work with the energies and themes presented rather than to work against them. You don't want to ignore any long transit of a personal planet. Mars usually stays two months in a Zodiac Sign, but in this case, Mars spends eight months in Gemini. That's three-quarters of a year even though the transit overlaps with 2023. While it's not usual for Mars to retrograde and stay in a single Zodiac Sign for several months, this particular transit comes at a time of great poverty and helplessness. And it reminds each of us that we have the power to manifest our desires if we place our focus on what we want instead of on what we don't want. This is not si

12 Shadows (The Dark Side of Each Zodiac Sign)

Image
We hear about shadow work often, but how do we discover our shadow? One way to find your shadow is to look up the darker side of your Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign. Warning: Your ego will try to deny your shadows. It will take courage to face and integrate your shadow. These descriptions might seem harsh and insulting but the intention if for integrating out shadows and becoming whole. Air Signs (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius) The shadow for the three Air Signs is extreme detachment or the denial of emotions. When I use the term dissociation I'm not using the psychological definition of the word. If you have your Sun, Moon, or Rising Sign in an Air Sign then there is a good chance that you downplay your emotions and repress the emotions of others. Libras get caught up in cult-like thinking such as Abraham Hicks and the Law of Attraction. They use toxic positivity to suppress high emotions in others. Because Libras need everyone and every situation to remain in balance, this c

Exciting Astrological Transits for 2023 (Transcend Suffering by Staying Heart-Centered)

Image
Every year presents us with a different cosmic animal. 2021 was a year filled with anxiety and conspiracies. Then 2022 journeyed through revolutionary energies. 2023 brings hope and optimism in a dream state, but it too presents challenging transits such as the square between Jupiter at 0 degrees Taurus and Pluto at 0 degrees Aquarius during the late spring. Yes, Pluto will dip into a new sign in 2023 and Saturn will transit from Aquarius into Pisces. And there's more. Read on. We start off 2023 with three planets going direct. Mercury goes direct at 8 degrees Capricorn on January 18, Mars goes direct at 8 degrees Capricorn (forming an inconjunct with Mercury) and on the 22nd, Uranus finally goes direct at 14 degrees Taurus and on the 30th, Mercury forms an Earth Trine with Uranus getting us on steady footing, well, maybe if we align our thoughts and stay grounded. Jupiter which as picked up speed has arrived back in Aries where it will only remain until May

Welcome to the Lion's Gate Portal for 2022

Image
Actually, I would rather name it the Scorpio Gate because it's a heavier portal than previous Lion's Gate Portals. I think the reason for this is a whopping Fixed T-Cross in the chart in which Scorpio provides an outlet.           The Fixed T-Cross includes the Sun in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, and the Uranus/North Node/Mars conjunction with Mars separating.  However, the T-Cross is offset by a Golden Triangle with Venus in Cancer, Neptune in Pisces and the Taurus conjunction of Mars/Uranus/North Node. So, I do believe this gives us a fork in the road where we can choose a path most congruent with our life path. Those people on an ascension path are likely to flow with Neptune, Venus, and the grounded energies of Uranus and Mars in Taurus. Even though Uranus is involved, Taurus is a stable sign usually but it requires awakening now and again because we can get stuck our ways or traditions.      We might plan for a future that actually doesn't suit the new pe

Zodiac Friendships (And the Lessons We Glean From Each Sign)

Image
Often we focus on incompatibility with the Zodiac Signs. And yet, the most powerful lessons come from people who are of the signs we think we should avoid. Squares and oppositions can work in our favor if we learn how to master the energy. And cutting out half the people of the world based on their Zodiac Sign or dominant elements is a mistake we can avoid. I'm going to include the signs in groups: Cardinal, Mutable, and Fixed and what you can expect as far as friendship from people born under each Zodiac Sign. CARDINAL SIGNS Aries--Fire, Mars Cancer--Water, Moon Libra--Air, Venus Capricorn--Earth, Saturn Cardinal Sign people are pushy. Depending on their element and planetary ruler, they push us in different ways. Aries represents Fire and the planet of war, Mars. While all four signs have motivational coaching abilities, Aries is the one that shoves us into new realities. Aries people might seem foolish at times as they head over the cliff with their dog underneath their arm, b

Navigating the Aquarius Age by Zodiac Sign

Image
As we cross the bridge from the Pisces Age to the Aquarius Age what does this mean for the 12 Zodiac Signs? Obviously, Aquarius has been champing on the bit for this new age to begin. And now it's here. But this age representing brotherhood, humanitarians, quirky inventions, energy, and light might not bode well with everyone. So, some of the Zodiac Signs (Water and Earth) need to make adjustments to make the best of this new energy. Water Signs Cancer-- Cancerians have hearts of gold and they believe in helping others. But this introverted sign doesn't bode well with groupthink or groups in general, even if they might lead a group. Cancer Natives are homebodies and they are usually as old fashion as Virgos (another sign that won't enjoy the Aquarius Age). Cancers are among the last people to adapt to new technology and they find the sign of Aquarius to be cold and detached. Aquarius people spend too much in their brains, so Cancerians think.
