December 2020 transits--Shifting into the Bigger Picture

We launched December with a Gemini Lunar Eclipse on November 30 and that's only the tip of the iceberg as we shift from the everyday details and interpersonal communication to charging into the cosmos. This Lunar Eclipse shapes the first two weeks of December and we can even lay low during this time. However, we're about to go into hyper drive and a mass awakening for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see.

Here are a list of the major and some minor transits rocking our world this closeout month of an intense year.

December

14--Total Solar Eclipse at 23 degrees Sagittarius

This mutable Fire Sign eclipse brings us warmth and buoyancy during a cold and dark time (at least in the northern hemisphere). It reminds me of that song, "Great Ball of Fire," and it reminds me of hot air balloons parading across the sky. Sagittarius represents seeing the bigger picture from the perspective of our higher mind. Where there was despair, this eclipse brings in hope, faith, and trust. Those problems that we thought would never go away or those circumstances that seemed out of our control now receive resolution, even when we thought those types of holiday miracles only happened in movies.

Not only that, when we pair this eclipse with the exact conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius and the Winter (or Summer) Solstice we are creating our future from our minds and our hearts. However, pay attention to where you place your focus. What we focus on we create even more. Focus on the love and peace that exist in the world.

15--Chiron in Aries goes Direct

If you have been doing your shadow work and owning your projections, then Chiron brings blessings. This is where we learn to accept those inner core wounds and gain wisdom from our experiences. We know of the progress we've made by the types of interactions we experience with others. If others seem bratty and impatient then it's time to go inward and resolve our wounds. The outer world reflects our inner one.

16--Saturn moves into Aquarius

After spending nearly three years in Capricorn (one of Saturn's own signs), this ringed planet transits into its second sign, Aquarius. Saturn loses its obsession with the material world and its ambition for climbing the ladder and moves into the Air Element where it is more interested in the structure our thoughts.

However, since Saturn is one of the planets that refers to the structures of our bodies we could experience nerve-related illnesses when Saturn is in Aquarius. Last time Saturn was in Aquarius I suffered from carpel tunnel syndrome which ended up being another nerve disorder that affected my arms and hands. This is the type of illness that can happen when Saturn is in Aquarius.

But on the other side of that, with Saturn and Jupiter transiting into Aquarius we could revolutionize the medical industry and the treatment of nerve-related illnesses through energy medicine. Also, some astrologers are saying that Saturn and Jupiter moving into Aquarius marks the entry into the Aquarius Age of light and energy.

19--Jupiter Enters Aquarius

Jupiter will pair up with Saturn again but this time in Aquarius. We look towards the future instead of the past. We expect freedom over confinement. We heal the world so that we can travel again and connect with people from other cultures or to educate ourselves. But more than that, I feel that this marks a time of connecting with star beings and I think of this transit as the Star Trek transit. In any case, it's time to expand our consciousness and step through the spiritual portal that takes us another step closer to the New Earth.

20--Mercury Enters Capricorn

This is a minor transit that brings sobriety to our communication and thinking style. Mercury in Capricorn along with the Sun in Capricorn remind us that every big vision comes with the first step. This is a time for planning and designing the blueprint for the future. It's also a time to manage our personal resources and take care of taxes.

29--Cancer Full Moon

We take this time to go inward and reflect. This is a time when people spend with their families or perhaps, alone in a cottage reflecting on the past year. While many people experienced loss of loved ones or the loss of a job, we must remember as we grieve those losses we can create new and better employment. And our loved ones are now in light bodies exploring other realms and the cosmos. Many souls were exhausted and ready to move on to the next adventure. While this is not an easy pill to swallow, this period of time is about expanding consciousness and seeking freedom to explore.

We mainly use this time to look back on the world and personal events that were launched with the Cancer Lunar Eclipse on January 10 and the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn that happens once every 500 years. We must admit we've grown, evolved, and created a cultural renaissance, depending on your perspective. We are not the same people we were a year ago. That's a good thing.
